Girls Aloud
This week some of our West London dogs had the pleasure of mingling with some chart topping VIPS. Whilst I was sitting talking to all our vets back at HQ, the very glamorous pop group Girls Aloud were stealing the limelight at Dogs Trust Harefield. You may have seen the girls starring in Nintendo’s latest advertising campaign for the Nintendo DS – as part of this they dropped in to the Rehoming Centre to launch our trial education initiative. The Nintendo DS is an amazing little gadget which will help bring the responsible dog ownership message to life in our education workshops. Thank you, thank you, thank you Nintendo!
Despite being on an incredibly tight schedule the girls found time to visit almost every dog in the kennel. I’ve heard that they enjoyed every minute spending as much time giving TLC to the oldies as they did playing with the puppies. By all accounts it was a tricky job to separate them from the dogs when they finally jetted off. Now I’ll get back to our vets to whom we are enormously grateful for looking after the health and welfare of the 16k dogs we look after each year.
