Part of the reason I love working at Dogs Trust is that I get to see at first hand the great love our staff have for the dogs in our care. 

This week I visited our rehoming centre at Harefield, West London and was moved to tears by a story of a very special dog and the great love being lavished upon him by our staff.

After 35 years working for Dogs Trust, I’m delighted that technology has given me the opportunity to talk directly to so many of our supporters. So here it is… my first blog.

The last week has been one of great joy and great sadness for me.  Last week I was at our International Companion Animal Welfare conference in Slovenia. The eighth conference we have organised to assist animal welfare organisations from all over the world.
